I have visited a website a month ago which had a beautiful design. I have made a screenshot of it's main headline and then forgot about the name of the website. Later I wanted to use this website again for inspiration, however I couldn't find it, since I didn't remember the name.
Below is the materials I have saved/created:
1. Main headline of the website.
This was the main headline. The only thing I've done is replace the text via Chrome Inspect Tools:
2. Click to action button Image.
This was the image which was to the left of the main "Click to action button:
3. Website design template.
Below I have manually re-created of how the overall design of this email service looked like:
4. Additional information:
All I remember is that website was a startup, focused on email marketing, delivery, email templates and that kind of things. The website has a smooth blue-green design, with the fonts shown on the image below.
Things I've tried:
I have spent already 2 days searching for it, but with no success.
Below I'm applying two of the websites which I have found to look very closely to it:
Websites which look very similar:
I thought that it was "SendPulse" with an older design, however checking with Internet Archive History (https://archive.org/) showed me that none of the pages had the design I've seen. I have also tried searching the "Airplane" image via Google Image search but I hit a wall again
Do you know which emailing website has this exact design?
Obviously, I didn't bother to save it in bookmakers. I've just taken the text and replaced it with my own one for later use.
My only hope is someone recognizes this emailing service and is able to hint its name. I'd appreciate if someone knows which website is this one.
Warmly thanks in advance!
P.S: If you feel the question does not belong to this stack, please suggest/move it to the proper one. I've considered "Software Recommendations" (https://softwarerecs.stackexchange.com) but I thought it will fit here better.

I am doing my resume right now, and I have a lot of acronyms. I'm using an OpenType font, so I've always put those acronyms in small caps. I've never quite been sure what to do, though, when a heading line or a list item begins with an acronym. When it begins with any other word, I would capitalize that first word. But with an acronym that's set in small caps, do I bump the first letter up to regular caps? Looks weird, to my eye.
Small caps alone

I'm a basic user of InDesign.
I have to import many (hundreds) of paragraphs into a page layout consistent of many Text Frames per page. Each page looks like so:
I have all the paragraphs on a spreadsheet where each cell is a paragraph.
My current workflow is to copy a full page in InDesign, paste it after the last page and then manually replace the content of each of the Text Frames with the next paragraphs. This is of course not very efficient.
Do you know of a way to automate or at least streamline this process?

In "contact sheet II" you can do following tricks:
When dialog is appeared set the Image size on your need (multiply of the images in width and length in their counts of column and rows in pixel unit) after entering that values change unit to cm and set spacing values to zero, then change-back unit to pixel.
NOTE: Don't forget to uncheck "Flatten all layers" checkbox.
After your file has been made create a Solid color Layer, below all of your images like image below to hide the white borders.

Mea culpa - it's my first time using Sketch to draw vectors and the bottom pair I did without using transform horizontal. :-
This is what happens when I try to just union directly:

: Re: Is a 3D modeler considered a graphic artist? Is a 3D modeler considered a graphic artist? When I think graphic artist, I think 2D, photoshop, advertisement, comics, etc, so I am not sure if
My impression is that "Graphic Artist" is usually taken to mean a 2D artist, whether working digital or physical. "Digital Artist" covers 2D and 3D.
A Modeler is of course 3D and digital, and had better be a good graphic artist with good eye for design. So it's not wrong to say a modeler is a graphic artist, but it'd be like calling a physicist an Electrical Engineer. The physicist had better know the circuit theory and parts, but doesn't practice other aspects of engineering such as manufacturability or QC full time. Likewise the Modeler doesn't need to be concerned with packaging, or adapting logos for different situations.
: Re: How to create a realistic shadow like in this image below? Super Realistic one I want to create a realistic shadow effect to my products like in this image. Original: The problem is I can't
You might do better using two shadow layers. One like what you have, and another one with a tighter fit, that is, varying from black to white over a much shorter distance. Looking at the first image in the question, I see a fairly tight dark shadow snug to the object, and a fainter, softly spread out shadow fading out over a larger distance.
You can get different looks by using different compositing operations on the two shadows. I usually just play with the layer's alpha, until I get what I like. Between adjusting shadow darkness, tightness, and the layer transparencies, you're likely to get close to what you want.

Here's my situation:
I've scanned several documents into JPG format.
The scanner scans 14x8.5 inches, but my documents are 11x8.5 so I need to crop them.
Every scanned doc is about 1.2 MB in size.
I open one in Photoshop, proceed to crop, then Save. A dialog appears asking for JPEG Options, including Quality. The default value is 10, however I can also choose 12. If I choose 10, I get an image size about the same as the original. If I choose 12, I get an image size larger than the original.
It seems incorrect to choose 12 and get a larger file size, since the final image would be smaller than the original. However, I don't want to lose quality compared to the original just because I've cropped it.
What is the best way to crop in Photoshop without losing image quality and saving in JPG?

I am new to CorelDraw in that I come from the Adobe world.
At the moment, I am working with a CorelDraw file that has several brush-like Symbols. These Symbols are styled, but I cannot see how.
For example, in the image below, the cloud on the left is what I get if I duplicate the Symbol in the Symbol Manager window, make a new instance of it and place it on white background.
On the right is what I get if I copy-paste the existing cloud used as part of the design.
Essentially, my question is how can I style the left to get the version on the right? I have tried the Transparency tool and the Lens effect. The former looks close, but I am not sure that it is accurate. The Lens effect modifies the color to something unacceptable.
Speaking of the Lens effect, when I select the original Symbol used in the design, the status bar seems to say that there is Lens effect applied to it. However, when I go to adjust this effect, it tells me that none is applied.
Lastly, is there a way to inspect the styles that are applied to an Object or Symbol?

I want to renumber the pages in the navigation pane of Adobe Acrobat X. There are only a limited number of numbering styles available in the page numbering options, as follows:
1, 2, 3,...
i, ii, iii,...
I, II, III,...
a, b, c,...
A, B, C,...
See image for how the option window looks.
However, I want to have "n, n-1, n-2, n-3,..." where n is the total number of pages or a custom number.
So, for example, if my document is 100 pages and the pages are currently numbered 1, 2, 3, 4...98, 99, 100 I want to be able to renumber them as 1, 2, 3, 100, 99, 98...6, 5, 4. This is to accommodate for languages with different reading directions (LTR and RTL) in the document.
Other than manually correcting the page numbers in the navigation pane, is there a way to do want I want?

I've been trying to achieve this black and white distorted text effect behind the green SUNDAY NOVEMBER 26th letters with no succes.
I'm specifically struggling trying to duplicate the letters in this black and white stripe fashion. They seem to turn gradually into the neighbour letters as they get closer i.e loosing the S letter shape as it gets closer to the U letter.
I've tried distortion effects like shear, and I've been playing around adding several strokes at a time. I've also tried copying and pasting multiple times the same letter next to each other but it gets nowhere near the desired effect.
I apologize for my poor English, I really wish I could explain myself better! I'll try come back and edit as many times as needed.

: Re: Illustrator: how to make a transparent favicon of non-square logo I have a logo that isn't square. I want to make it a favicon that has a transparent background, but doing so requires making
Start a new document at the size you want (16x16 px).
Select your logo group and drag over to new file.
clicking and holding shift on one of the corners (this will keep the dimensions of scale as you resize).
click the chain link between the dimensions (to link width and height) before changing a dimension.
The first layer in the 16x16 new doc, can be used to change the background colour or leave as transparent.
All that said, to meet the new standards for mobile devices and desktops, you will need several favicon sizes, ranging from 16x16 to 512x512, device specific, some with transparent and some with solid block colour.
Your logo will also need to be visable / usable in one colour/transparent, which can be tricky if the logo is not pure vector.
You can set your defaults as needed in preset ai files ready to drop your designs into or there are plenty of online services which automate the whole process.
eg.https://realfavicongenerator.net/ or www.favicon-generator.org/
You can upload a 800x800.png (larger than 512px) and it will do all the extraction work for you.

Now whatever size you draw, it will show the value based on one of the mentioned values chosen above.
: Re: How to put Grainy texture on shapes in Adobe Illustrator The grainy texture on Illustrations is trending since last 2-3 years. I tried it, but when I save it as .svg , its size gets increased
I usually do this process in Photoshop, even if my artwork is in Illustrator.
I import them as Smart Object and add noise and combinations of blending modes and so on. That's just what I have found to be easier to control and get a nice result.
: Re: How to present page layouts in a portfolio A student came to see me today, debating on how she should be presenting her page layout work to apply in a very selective B.A. in graphic design.
If I'm correctly understanding the goal here, I would create a 3D mockup and present that along with the flat layout (probably each on their own page so they don't fight for the viewer's attention) and that way both the design in its "pure" form and its final realized form can be appreciated.
A book is a common enough object that she wouldn't even need to create a 3D model by herself. She could just grab one off a site like BlendSwap or TurboSquid.
Here is one example of a free CC0 book on BlendSwap that could serve as a starting point:
It would show that a little more effort was invested and demonstrate that the designer is able to create mockups too.
If starting with 3D data presents too much of a learning curve for the project's timeframe another option would be to start with a professional looking stock photo of an open book and impose the layout onto it in Photoshop using the Warp tool or in Illustrator using Mesh Warp.
Here is a stock photo from Pixabay (also CC0) that could serve as a starting point for image manipulation:
Hopefully some kind of approach like this can be a solution for her.
: Re: Working with a Pantone Guide in correlation with a well calibrated screen I have Dell XPS 15 9560 white led display, which is calibrated with an x-rite i1 Display Pro. I mainly do my work
Computer screen always displays colours in RGB colourspace. It can't use other colourspaces such as CMYK or PMS - it just simulates them. Even when calibrated to perfection, you can only get so far with monitor backlit colour mixing of RGB colourspace.
Pantone colours are made using 18 different pigments, and some shades or tints simply can't be reproduced on computer screen - just simulated. That's why we use colour bridge that contains pantone to CMYK and to RGB values that should be as close (in terms of appearance) as possible - but there can and there will be differences.

Given this image of a jigsaw with 4 pieces, is there a technique to alter the shapes so they shrink away from each other but retain their interlocking nature?
I would describe it as dissolving or receding the edges, or adding a tolerance between the pieces.
Bumping up the stroke width gives me the visual result of creating a void between the pieces, but I'm looking to actually alter the underlying shapes. Ideally looking for a technique that will scale with more pieces.

: How to substract front shapes with a Bevel & Emboss effect and get a inner sharp edge instead of a round one first off my apologies for my poor english. I'm tying to learn a better way
first off my apologies for my poor english.
I'm tying to learn a better way to recreate automatically this square frame shown on the left of this picture (1) so I can use it for irregular shapes in the future (3). Notice that inner and outer corners of the frame are straight (2).
I did this first frame with two layers one ontop of the other. The one on top had a white fill and was slightly smaller in size, the one below was red (with a red fill too) with a Bevel & Emboss effect. Putting the smaller white fill layer on top would conceal the layer below except from its bevel border, creating the illusion of an empty frame. This, however, only works for rectangular shapes.
So next I thought I'd could try to combine paths to get the frame shape (4).
But then, when I applied the Bevel & Emboss effect to the whole layer, the result I got was (5). You can see the inner corner of the bevel is rounded (6). And keeps round no matter how much I change the size of the inner path.
I kept playing with different Path Operations like Substract Front Shape and Exclude Overlapping Shape but got same result every time.
How can one substract front shapes with a Bevel & Emboss effect and get a inner sharp edge like in (2) instead of a round inner corner like in (6)?
Thank you for your time!

This is an awfully specific problem, but it seems possible so I thought I'd see if there was the IT God above all IT Gods in here :)
I run an In Person Sales business where we showcase pictures to clients after a shoot. The pictures are shown in Photoshop in JPEG format, while the RAW versions are in the same folder.
However, when the final pictures have been selected and are open in Photoshop, I would like it to batch process the RAW version/corresponding filename of the JPEGS that are open and rename them with prefixes changed.
Basically, I open 10 photos, discard 8 and am left with IMG_01 and IMG_20, and to save time I would like Photoshop to transfer the corresponding RAW version of each file and batch process them into another folder while renaming them so I don't have to look for each RAW file when I have 16 images for every client. Before I came they would just take a screenshot of the opened/selected images and the retouching team would have to find the matching numbers among 150+ photos.
Yes, I am aware that there is most likely a way easier way to process and batch the images, like opening them in Lightroom instead of the JPEG version in photoshop, but let's pretend like people are stubborn and have a hard time adapting to change here ;)
