I have a Github user page which I wanted to park a domain on it. I also would like to be able to use my email address from my domain; however my NIC doesn't provide mx record changing, it only supports ns changing (I don't know if I used the correct term but it only supports setting the DNS for a web-host to use the domain). the domain I'm planning to buy is a cc domain it's .ir (Iran) What can I do regarding this problem?
I have heard of DNS Hosting services and I wanted to know can I set the DNS on my domain registrar to a free DNS host (e.g. Namecheap) and then set the mx record to a free mail hosting (like zoho) and set the DNS to Github? I don't know if this solution sounds ridiculous or novice but what can I do regarding this problem?
