I checked internal links report in Google Webmaster and it shows that I have about 340 thousand internal links to main page. There are about 5k indexed pages on my site, so it means that every page should have an average of 67 links to main page only, which is ridiculous, there are maybe one or two links from logo and menu. The next entry has about 9k links, which makes sense as it's in the site footer so it may be present on every page.

Any idea what I should look at? Are these stats even reliable? Can Google somehow consider href="#" links as main page?
