: Adsense on tall mobile screens without pushing content below the fold I thought I did really well in the mobile world in terms of adsense, but my income is constantly lower for the mobile

I thought I did really well in the mobile world in terms of adsense, but my income is constantly lower for the mobile site than on desktop site.

For the most popular pages on mobile, I'm at one cent per 1000 impressions if I'm lucky.

I begin to believe now that the reason is because some devices that are redirected to mobile have a gigantic screen height (I'm referring to CSS pixels) and a small screen width which in turn google probably is thinking the ad is "pushing content down the fold" where as on other devices the ad is already below the fold.

I'm looking here: mydevice.io/devices/
and what's really crazy is that some devices declared as mobile have screen heights greater than 600 pixels with a screen width of only 300 to 500.

Currently my popular mobile pages have images of width 375 and height 200 and something so that the whole picture fits in any smartphone. then I have an ad underneath then text follows.

I feel my only solution at this point is to move the ad unit all the way to the end of the page to prevent google from believing that I'm "pushing content down the fold", but at the same time, I feel my reward will be an extra cent at best because no one will see the ad since guests are so focused on the pictures on the site (which is the first thing displayed).

I also think its a terrible idea to make it where text comes first followed by picture because guests will then complain about excessive scrolling.

These are the rewrite conditions I use to detect whether a device is mobile or not. Could it be possible that I'm using the wrong set of data to detect mobile?

What am I supposed to do here?

Ideally I'd like the ad unit right under the picture navigation and before the text, but I don't want google to believe that the ad is pushing content below the fold regardless of the device guests use to visit the site.
