If I have website that supports 2 languages: Serbian and English. And I have url's like these:
one Serbian news: rs.example.com/vesti/12345/neki-naslov
one English news: en.example.com/news/12345/some-title
vesti and news are controller names, 12345 is ID, some-title is slug.
Do search engines care about the part before ID or slug? I have never cared about translating controller names, but now my client wants them translated. So the part after the domain but before ID is controller name (in my framework there would be also action name, but I will try to hide it).
I do not really see any benefits in doing this. The URL may be easier to understand for people that are using the website (like they care...), but the implementation of the website is more complicated. So the only left relevant factor for me is SEO.
