Why are websites worst than mine in terms of SEO Analytics results in first page of google and my website is on fifth?

It's been over a year and I haven't yet accomplish to set my website in first page result of google.
I have been correcting my website in terms of SEO for quite a while by applying what several SEO Analytics websites tell me (such cache content; compression; css/js block, responsiveness; speed; etc.) but I haven't seen any results.

In Google Speed Analytics I get 95/100 overall result. In seositecheckup.com/ I get 85/100.

What upsets me more is that I also did a checkup for my competitors websites and they are way, but way worst, like 30/100, 50/100, but yet they appear in the first page of google results.

My product is in a tough market I agree, which is "Billing Software" and there alot of products available. But whenever I search "Billing Software" my product only appears in the fifth page of google and yet I have the words "Billing software" in the title and in the Metatag-description, thing that my competitors doesn't.

How do you explain this? What am I doing wrong?
