I'm having an issue with a website recently launched - for the sake of things, let's just simply call it "foobarfoo.com". It's my understanding that NORMALLY when you own a domain and people search for the name of the domain, it would usually show up as result number 1 (usually). But in this case, it doesn't?

The thing is, "foobarfoo" has been discussed in the press in the local area lately, so could that have an influence? All results on page 1 are mainly articles debating "foobarfoo", and "foobarfoo.com" doesn't actually show up until page 2.

I hope someone can help me out, or explain how exactly it works, I'm not too keen on SEO.
