THIS QUESTION IS NOT RELATED TO SITELINKS BUT THE ACTUAL INDEXING
So I have a problem, when I search "mysite" only my index page is ranked on search engines as the top result followed by my youtube, twitter, and google plus account with "mysite" as the profile name. Where as to get the other pages I need to search "mysite.com".
Some more info
- site has been up for a year
- i have a unique name, meaning my youtube and twitter for the site also show up without a problem as the top results
- i submitted a sitemap with the index as 1.00 and subpages as 0.80
- only 2 of my pages have my site name in the meta description (not sure if this matters?)
- site has an SSL certificate and begins with https
to clarify:
--when i google "mysite" without the .com - only the index page shows up along with my youtube, twitter, and google plus, followed by random urls of random sites who may use some of the same phrases on their site.
--when i google "mysite.com", my other pages pop up directly under my index, somethig that doesn't happen without the .com addition. (no not as sitelinks, that not what im talking about)
further clarification:
-- when i google "mysite"
results show as
my site
my youtube
my google+
random other site with similar info
random other site with similar info
random other site with similar info
-- when i google "mysite.com"
results show as
my site
my site (other page)
my site (other page)
my site (other page)
Was wondering why my other pages dont show when I search without the .com and how I could fix this. Thanks.
