Is it possible that one specific site doesn't show in my google analytics as a referral? I have an article about my site that should have generated traffic and I saw nothing. After examining further I noticed that when clicking on the link I don't see the site show up as a referrer in my real time traffic, when all other sites do. It's also never showed up in acquisition > all traffic > referrals after clicking the link myself many times over the last week.

To test if the problem had to do with how the link was coded I copied the html line to another site and upon clicking the link the new site shows up as a referral. So it seems that the problem is with the source site not the link or html. The site isn't blocked in my analytics exclusion list either.
