I would like some opinions because I can not find the following anywhere in any of my Google searches.

So,
I own domain,
let's say example.com, which focuses on English content and globally.

I want to geo target it on the German content for example. I am not talking via the webmaster tools/etc. just the automatic way that google's crawlers index the web pages on each country due to their language.

Also,

example.de is not an option.
de.example.com is not an option.
example.com/de/ is not an option.

My only option is
example.com to be auto-translated by a "custom" script, or even better to get the German content from the database and replace the English content. Fair enough.
Strange, I know.

In this case, the logical scenario could be the following;

The crawler of google.com is going to check the website and find that
this website has English content. So, google.com index the website
and rank it globally on English keywords.
Meanwhile, the crawler of Google.de is going to check the same
website and finds that the same website has German content. So,
google.de index the website and rank it better.

How bad/good is this technic going to affect the SEO of the website?
