Currently the company i am working for hosts their main-site (from the US) at example.com. All content is driven from the US including case studies, articles and spelling.
They have multiple other ccTLDs like (mainly for language purposes):
example.fr
example.cn
etc.
Being based in Australia, this obviously means a disadvantage when trying to localise content. Since that's the next step we want to do, should we be doing a sub-folder or a ccTLD (resources may be thin however to manage a ccTLD).
Is there any problem in doing a sub-folder whilst other countries are run from a ccTLD? I think the eventual goal would be to move to a ccTLD but any thoughts / recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
