We are developing a site currently hosted on a VPS. (Although the site is running Joomla, this isn't a Joomla-specific question.) We anticipated a few thousand users and weren't concerned about performance based on that number. It now looks like we may have many tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of users based on initial interest. I'm concerned about performance and am looking at moving the project to AWS to satisfy the need to quickly scale in order to keep up with the growth. Does this sound workable or what direction would work best?
