I purchased a web hosting service, and am trying to get SSL completely applied on my website.

At the moment, my website can be accessed through both the non-SSL version and the SSL version.

I contacted the support center of the web hosting company to ask them to change the url of my website to the SSL version. And a staff replied me that I have to install a WordPress plugin called "Really Simple SSL".

I told him that I don't use WordPress on my website. He replied that I need to "install this plugin using third party" then.

I'm confused. Is that true? If so, how do I "install this plugin using third party"?
