: Tracking Adwords Conversions Once Off of Landing Page We've got our Adwords campaigns feeding into a couple of different landing pages with the form(s) on those pages passing a lead source flag
We've got our Adwords campaigns feeding into a couple of different landing pages with the form(s) on those pages passing a lead source flag into our CRM platform which we then use to measure close rate.
Our Adwords campaign is showing roughly 8% conversion rate (which we're happy with), but filtering down our lead sources in the CRM, only about 4% are coming directly from the landing page, meaning the other half of the Adwords originating conversions are coming from the user clicking off of our landing page and converting on another page on our site. We've minimized the number of links into the full site, but you know... there's some and apparently people are clicking on them... a lot.
A conversion is a conversion, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to then track those leads so we can measure the close rate on Adwords originating leads versus organic-originating leads.
What's the best way to do this?
