Why isn't Google indexing a site of my client?

His site looks like scraped content, but he is actually selling those products. He has a site with 11,000 products that he is reselling, ie. he has vendors that go to him with items. He then connects vendor and buyer.

Google is not indexing the products. Because the products are just items with a pretty flat description. The content looks scraped. I think that is the issue.

What can be done about it?
