Yesterday, around 11:00 AM, I launched a static web page (one-pager) that was developed in Ruby on Rails (using HAML), but after +24hrs Google is still not indexing it (it does show up when I type site:url in Google, but in Webmaster Tools is says the page is not indexed yet), which is quite frustrating.
What I have tried
- Google Webmaster Tools, submitted for crawling / indexing
- Submit URL to Google
- Following the most important guidelines for SEO (title, meta, robots.txt, sitemap, ...)
- Following the guidelines on WooRank, the site got a score of 61.
Did I so something wrong?
Does this have something to do with the way the web page was built? Ruby on Rails + HAML?
Does it maybe have something to do with the way the DNS was set up?
Currently the root is forwarded to the www, which is a CNAME to the
Heroku Link (www.domainname.extension.herokudns.com)
I'd prefer not to link the web page here as to avoid the questions about it showing up in Google before the actual website!
