What would be the best way to place my hreflang tags in my sitemap if I can serve the same URL in two different languages?

We happen to have a translation service that does all that stuff for us therefore we don't navigate to any country/language specific page for that.

I have seen many examples where you have the x-default along with country specific but in my case I'm not sure how this would apply.
