I'm looking into the best solution going forward for our server configuration. Currently we have a reseller package with our provider. While it does the job it's somewhat limited. Therefore i'm looking into VPS solutions. We have clients with wordpress sites and some legacy cms sites, pretty standard. We also host email for some of them too. All in all its about 20-30 sites that will be transferred in total.

The primary reason is to implement an improved work flow within development of these sites, primarily taking advantage of git.

Now with a VPS I can go down the route of using WHM/cPanel or something similar which should do the job. However i'm curious about taking advantage of docker, or even droplets on Digital Ocean.

What can people advise and recommend?
