Information should be arranged in a way that is useful to the end-user, taking into account psychological and cultural conditions, i.e. for Western countries, text is normally left-to-right, whilst in some other cultures it may flow right-to-left or top to bottom.

Information Architecture is the practice of optimising and synthesizing information to produce a result that is as useful and as easy to use as it can possibly be.
