A brief, redundant, usage history
A few years back I simply put everything under one account. No relogging or using multiple FTP-accoupts. Root/admin simply worked under ZAdmin and Sentora. Vesta however forced me a bit to create a hierarchy and as I'm setting up DirectAdmin fresh, I want to do it correctly from the start.
I can't find anything of quality regarding user level hierarchy via Google, so I'm looking to figure out admin-reseller-user methodologies (if possible specific to Directadmin). Separating everything is simply more secure, that's why I already suspended the admin account and created a new admin.
Basically, this is the tree.
(translations: ik zelf=me, optioneel=optional, klant=customer, domein=domain)

But how can I create this the best way in DirectAdmin?
Part of my confusion is created by the fact that you, as far as I can tell, don't need a reseller account for users or users to set up domains, as you can simply change your user level if you're an admin-user. Therefor it seems a little redundant to create resellers and regular users..
My wish:
I'm looking either for constructive feedback
whether (and/or when) I should require separate reseller/regular users or;
an explained methodology how to set up the user base
Both will most likely answer my questions, as well as those of others.
