Say I have a multilingual page for Portuguese and English, all my pages are prefixed with /pt and /en respectively. My default language will be English, so if someone routes to /contact, it will show the same content as /en/contact.
How do I handle this so Google does not think this is a duplicate page. I would also like to list example.com under the search vs. example.com/en. However there will be a languages dropdown in the page that will route to the example.com/pt and example.com/en. What would be the best way to handle this?
