I have built an ecommerce website and at the minute I do not rank. The coding of the website had been fine PHP, CSS and JavaScript where all easy enough.

I have been doing a lot of reading into SEO to try and boost my site up the rankings and keep coming across backlinks. After looking into backlinks I have also found that not all backlinks are good backlinks?

I downloaded seo spyglass, checked my website and I have 3 backlinks which I fine my self on social media. Checked a competitor and they have 400,000+ backlinks.

How do you even begin to compete with that?

Is there any fast easy to positively increase backlinks or any proven methods?
