I currently use a number of different email clients - Bluemail and Gmail on my phone and thunderbird/seamonkey on desktop.

I notice that when i look at my inbox and scan down the list (seems to be the same on all email clients)... I will see all emails recieved. there is generally a circle at the lefthand side that may contain the initials of who sent the email


For example stackoverflow would appear in the cirlce as SO


Other companies such as


Google would be a multi-colored G and twitter would be the bird logo associated with the brand


I would like, when I email my customers, for my logo to show instead of initials. does anyone know how id be best going about this?
