I'm not sure if this is the right StackExchange, and if not, I apologise.

I've been asked to look after a number of WordPress sites running on a WHM/cPanel hosted VPS and I'm looking at the page performance using Google's PageSpeed Insights.

Across 6 sites I'm getting advise to "Reduce server response time" which runs at about 1.5 seconds.

If I use 'inspect' from the Chrome right click button and select the Network tab, I can see the TTFB is roughly 1 second. Can anyone advise me what I should be prioritising to fix this.
