Hi, I'm Yisela :) I joined this site when it had just started the beta, 2½ years ago, and was later asked to become a pro-tem mod. I then was and still am now immensely proud to be part of this community.

My main goals during this time have been to improve (or maintain) the quality of questions and answers, to welcome new users in a friendly and encouraging way, and to 'fuel' the community via meta posts, discussions and general idea exchanges.

I hope the time and passion I have invested in GD.SE over the last years have somehow contributed to shaping this community. I have enjoyed each day in GD.SE and would absolutely love a the chance to be one of the first elected mods for the site.

If you want to ask me any questions or you'd like to know what it's like to be a mod (tasks, responsibilities, creative problem-solving :P) you can find me in the election chat room or the general GD chat room.
