Greetings!

I am Matt aka Gramps. I've been coming to GD for 2 years but a member for a little over a yr. Lately I've taken a court side seat to answers hoping it drives new users to step up.

Goals:


encourage questions outside the realm of software (which can be seen on meta)
more typography questions other than "What is this font"
revamp the tags for questions
try to complete X number of tag wiki edits before the year ends
encourage new/current users to ask questions that are descriptive and helpful


History: I started in design when I was in my teens and worked part time for a print/sign shop. I am currently employed as a web developer but I freelance web design but still have a passion for print and typography.

I would never come close to the greatness of Yisela and John as a mod but I believe I would be a great mod for GD since I spend almost all day on here watching the new questions and reading the great answers and trying to encourage, edit, or flag questions/answers as needed.
