the technique I'm gonna describe works between Flash Cs6 & Illustrator Cs6 to be able to move your vector graphics from flash to illustrator and yet still maintaining their vector properties.
From inside flash choose: File > Export image and choose Filetype or "save as type" as Adobe FXG.
Then from inside Illustrator choose: File > Open and point to that .fxg file you saved before. You should end up being able to have all those flash vectors now nicely sitting in a illustrator artboard.
Thats all.
There's no way to directly import a .swf into Illustrator without access to Flash, as the file types are not compatible.
You could use a tool to convert it, but I don't know of any Open Source ones.
PDF995 (a free online tool) apparently lets you import the SWF and then export it as PDF, which can be opened by Illustrator. You do it by going to SWF window > Print and choosing a PDF printer.
What you can do is
1) Create a new document in Flash
2) File > import > import to stage
3) Scale all the elements so that they fit on the stage
4) File > Print > PDF > Save as Postscript
5) Give it a name and when done...
6) Open it in Illustrator!
