One thing I noticed is that they all make you look at the negative space.

E: I also noticed that they all connect to the background to use the negative space to make the actual logo.

: When saving images in photoshop CS6 as png they get a white background I've got an image, it's an RGB 8 bit. But when i save it as png, i don't see the transparency, it's all white

They are called 'negative space logos'.
