I am looking for a free font management system to use for Adobe Illustrator (Windows):

I wanted to use Nexus fonts but I had the following issues with it:


I couldn't find a way to access google fonts directly. Finding fonts on google and downloading them can get very tedious and I prefer view them in whatever font management system and be able to temporarily activate them
It does not have an extension for Illustrator. I ideally want to create collectons of fonts. I know that Extensis Suitcase supports this but it (A)is giving me issues getting it to work and (B)cost a decent amount of money.


Note: I fully expect the answer "these are all advanced features and you won't get them in any free font manager". I am aware, however I do not currently have the funds to purchase them. I expect I will work up to that point, but I need a free alternative for now.
