I would really appreciate your help. I 've been trying to figure this out for more than 5 days sadly on different types of software and finally I decided to download Photoshop CC and still no luck.

I am trying to save a 8" x 10 " image as 300 dpi.

I tried the following steps, but the resolution of the saved file decreases after it is saved (to 576 x 720 resolution)

1) Create new file as 2400 x 3000 pixels. Resolution: 300 Pixels/inch. Color Mode: CYMK Color 16 bit.

2) Draw something

3) Save as PDF: Options: Do Not Downsample. Compression: JPEG. Image Quality: Maximum.

Why does the resolution change? :( I even tried just opening a BLANK document and I STILL face the same problems.
