Before the last update Illustrator would give a visual queue when it snapped to anchors. Now it only displays an ambiguous "intersect", and when there's a lot of elements, it's difficult to know whether it snaps to some other object or the anchor.

Are there something wrong with my version of Illustrator, is it a bug or is it a feature?

Update: Pressing Cmd seem to help somewhat, but it's very wonky:
