There are paintings/photographs designed and separated into parts like this one:


I would also like to slice a photo similarly but into smaller and bigger circles.

Additionally I would need to duplicate every circle's external ~5cm as I want to place the circle cuts on 5cm thick rims giving them depth and 3D effect

Basically it would be a photograph on the wall on separate circle frames and if we move a bit aside we see the depth of the frames and the photographs colours on the edges (not the frame)

Could anyone suggest a way to do it?

I hope my explanation makes some sense :D
