Is there a way to select editable text in the latest Illustrator without inverting the selection color? Like Ctrl-H in Photoshop.

I'd like to select text, and then try different typefaces for that text, but the inversion of the color makes it more difficult to visually determine how any given type looks in the given location.

I'm using Illustrator 20.1.0 (2015.3.1).
