C4D seems to be the best option but considering your first example (sphere) i'm pretty sure it was made with an after effect plugin called Plexus.

You can achieve these output with the help of any vector based tools like illustrator.

For Cinema 4D, you can follow these steps... here and then tweak your output image in Photoshop or GIMP
