I have a map for a running race inside woods and there are 4 possible circuits of different length. These circuits share some segment of route, so I have intersections and overlaps.

I want to show them on the image using Photoshop. I traced different paths and then used "Stroke path" feature to highlight courses but I have not found a practical way to show the overlaps.

My own idea for overlaps is a sort of rainbow stroke path in which colors are side-by-side all along the path. How to make it in Photoshop? It's hopeless to draw extra colors manually. I need a way to render one path as a rainbow that has 2 to 4 colors.

Can you tell how to do it? Any other ideas are welcome, too.
