: Dragging image from Photoshop to Illustrator sticks to the artboard and rescales the content around it. What has happened? I've never had this problem before but it's started happening recently.

I've never had this problem before but it's started happening recently. Usually I can drag and drop an image from Adobe Photoshop to Adobe Illustrator and it floats wherever I drop it and has no effect on the other content.

Now when I try it, the dropped image aligns to the centre of the artboard and moves + scales the other content on the page. This is problematic because the content is specifically sized and positioned and I need to ensure it stays that way.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm using Mac OS Sierra with the Adobe CC 2015 software.
