I need to make something like a "share element", maybe close to this:



But I wanna do exactly those lines getting larger smoothly to bind those circles. How can I reach that? As you can imagine, I'm a beginner with Illustrator, I've tried some tools like pathfinder, but no success (sure, I'm doing something wrong or not appropriately).

So, how to?
