I'm using the shaper tool in Illustrator CC to cut some letters to the shape of a circle, however, it's making slightly inaccurate cuts. For example, this picture shows the white (letter), blue circle, and there is a very narrow blue line running between the letter and the edge of the circle, the letter should be covering that and be right at the edge of the blue circle so no blue is showing.



I can't seem to pull the anchor points on the letter to the edge to cover this without going outside the circle. The circle has no stroke, only fill, same with the letters. I tried adding a small stroke to the letters but it still ends up outside the ellipse.

Does anyone know how to solve this?
