I have just recently designed a logo for an Ontario repair group which is not affiliated with the government in any way. The logo is a word mark with icon at the end, circle with a trillium in the center. The trillium looks nothing like the Ontario logo but I am still worried that there might be legal issues with it, am I allowed to use the trillium at part of my logo, if stated on the website that it is a private not public group and is not associated with the government?
