So I am dealing with a large print ad and need to know whether I should rasterize the background photograph or leave it as it is. The reason I ask is that the size and performance of the file are hugely impacted when rasterizing the photo. I have gone from a 60MB file to 3.6GB. My printing team complained that the file was crashing their computers...

Is it possible to have a print ready file that isn't huge on filesize and damaging to computer performance?
