I am a novice graphic designer (with so much to learn!) and I have a question about how to save a PDF from Photoshop with Device Dependent Colors (with no ICC Profiles). I use Photoshop CS5.1.
Apparently I saved the PDF file with Device Independent Colors and the publisher/printing company can't accept a file with that specification. They require files with Device Dependent Colors (with no ICC Profiles).
I think I selected the wrong setting under Output ==> Color in the PDF dialog box as I began to save the file. Can anyone help me understand which settings to choose under Color Conversion, Destination, and Profile Inclusion Policy so that the file saves with Device Dependent Colors. Or are there other settings I also need to consider to save this file correctly?
Here is a screenshot of the settings I used:
But the Destination dropdown is a bit overwhelming... do I need to choose one of these settings instead:
Thank you very much!
