I'm creating mobile phone app with a lot of toolbar buttons and I would like to make painting of these toolbar buttons easier. I have no experience with advanced painting programs. I would like to

Paint same background to all the images. When I change application background, I would like to be able to change background color of all images quickly.
Paint same rounded rectangle to all images (with transparent color). Similarly to previous step, if I want to change the shape, I want to change it on all images in one go.
Paint actual image specific to concrete button.

Are there free to use tools for such a work? Thank you.
