I have a table where the are the 12 months and the rows are various financial items. So it's about 14-ish columns wide, and might be several dozen rows long, with various rows presenting sub-items and subtotals and totals.
I want to be able to distinguish cells in an accessible way, especially for those with poor vision. The first six months for a given row might require 'Label 1', whereas the next six months might require 'Label 2'.
My intent is to have a contextual "legend" that shows what each "colour" represents.
But what other indicators can I use in addition to colour?
various colours (great! need another)
boldness of type (works great, but only two options)
font-family (yuck!)
font size (yuck!)
?
