OK. I have acquired a symbol-heavy (at least 100), Adobe Illustrator file for a map with multiple sizes of artboards for maps. Running out of ram and Illustrator file grows when saving. Updating only master with symbols but is in same illustrator file. Is there a better way? I would have preferred creating this map in InDesign and linking all the graphics instead.
