I am new to drawing in Photoshop and I would like to know how costly it is to make new layers for all elements in the picture. As I deemed it is easier to transform and edit objects without interfering with the others but is this advisable? Does this explode the file size or is it the same as drawing on one layer only. Any other reasons that advise against it?

I'd just like to get a more experienced opinion on that.
