I am desperately looking for some good practice rules, some guidelines regarding the sizes a map marker should have, adjusted with the zoom of the map. Let's take a basic Google Map marker for instance, I am looking for some tips like that :

zoom < 10 ? => marker size : 60x60
16 < zoom < 10 ? => marker size : 40x40
zoom > 16 ? => marker size : 30x30

numbers are random, it's just to show the idea of what tips I am looking for...
