I have had a BodyMovin animation created which consists of 5 distinct scenes. The animation is being used in a hybrid mobile app. For each scene I would like to show a descriptive caption. BodyMovin provides two events that could perhaps be useful here


enterFrame and
segmentStart


The first event is an easy one and I can use it. Given that each of my scenes has a known number of frames I can count frames in each enterFrame event and trigger the caption change as and when required. However, it is not at all clear to me what segmentStart does. In my own tests it never fires so it clearly does not correspond to each of my 'scenes'. I understand JavaScript but I am at a loss here given that I am a total newbie when it comes to animation Adobe AE etc. Can someone here explain just how/if segmentStart can be used or do I simply have to settle for counting frames in enterFrame?
