GOAL: In other words I want to create a droplet that I will use on a set of images in a folder, where the resulting processed versions will be saved as new files to that same folder.

NOTES: So far I see that in an action you can use the following 'Save' options:


"Save As" which does not give you web optimization.


Requires a destination.

"Export/Web Legacy" which allows web optimization.


Requires a destination.

"Save and Close" which does not really provide web optimization.


Does not require a destination but does not provide web optimization



QUESTION: How do I set this up so that I can drop a folder of files onto a droplet and have it process the files and save the new updated versions within that source folder?
