I have been struggling to open some vector graphics in Gimp on OSX. I am running Gimp 2.8 on Mac OSX High Sierra. I have installed Ghostscript v.9.22. I have set the GS_PROG environment variable which was suggested on a couple of forums and mailing lists. Clearly, Gimp does not support Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file format out-of-the-box. Is there a method for enabling support for this format?
