I have been messing around in Photoshop trying to re-create this effect!

I want to make the text have an inline effect. Where the black is inside the orange not like a stroke or select-> modify-> contract. With the select-> modify-> contract option it does not make a perfect out line that I would want or make it vector like a font would be. Let me know this can not be that hard. I hope.
